News to Use in the Fight Against Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Hello friends,
Thanksgiving gets me thinking-it always does. About family, friends, faith, and the moments that make life so special. It’s a time to be together with those we love, and to show gratitude for the many blessings we have.
It’s also a perfect time for me to reflect on-and communicate- why I’m so grateful to lead SaveHeart by HeartNation. Every day, I have the privilege to work with outstanding colleagues, collaborate with leading AED manufacturers and distributors, and partner with inspiring not-for- profits- including many that have turned tragedy into triumph. Our mission is represented by our name, and it all revolves around People. When more people have 24/7 access to life-saving AEDs, more lives are saved. And that means more chances to laugh together, pray together, celebrate together, and be thankful together.
To show our gratitude, SaveHeart by HeartNation is excited to announce our 2025 Year-End Discount Program. Now through December 31, 2025, enjoy significant savings on both SaveHeart

We all know budgets get tight this time of year. This is our way of saying ‘Thank you,’ while helping you start the outdoor AED program you’ve been thinking about. Because at the end of the day, this isn’t about discounts or deadlines- it’s about people, and being together with family, friends, and neighbors for moments that matter most. In this season of Thanksgiving and reflection, we’re grateful for the opportunity to help you make your community safer for everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving,
Dave Fritzsche,
Founder, SaveHeart by HeartNation

Big Safety Upgrades in Missouri and in Washington

We’re excited to share that Hannibal Public Schools in Missouri has added a 24/7 accessible SaveHeart by HeartNation Outdoor AED Tower at Veterans Sports Complex, with another one
coming soon to Porter Stadium!
Thanks to the teamwork of Marelly Safety and the Marion County Ambulance District, help is now always within reach, even after hours and outside closed doors.
And, two new SaveHeart by HeartNation Outdoor AED Cabinets are now installed at the Toppenish High School athletic
fields. They are ventilated, heated, and fully monitored so they’re ready any hour of any day.
Thank you, Hannibal Public Schools and Toppenish High, for leading by example and partnering with us to keep your community safe.

New York Closes the AED Gap

New York schools have long been required to keep AEDs on-site but that rule only applied to public schools. Until now.
The new Bill A06486/S02590 just passed into law in New York expands those same life-saving requirements to non-public schools, ensuring AED access, signage, and trained staff .
It’s a simple but powerful move that closes a long-standing safety gap — and one that will save lives

The annual Birthday Bash held in honor of Matthew Mangine Jr, by the One Shot Foundation was held on November 8th and was a huge success. As part of our event “Hat Trick” sponsorship, plans are underway for the City of Cincinnati to receive and install an outdoor AED, available 24/7 in a fully monitored SaveHeart by HeartNation cabinet.
Six months ago, we hosted this conversation with Matt Mangine, Sr of the One Shot Foundation. Now, in honor of the Matthew Mangine Birthday Bash, we’re bringing it back to your attention.
In this interview, Matthew Mangine talks about the sudden loss of his son, Matthew, to SCA, and the incredible work that he and The One Shot Foundation have done ever since.
