• Often maintenance, trainers, coaches, nurses, etc. take AEDs to other sites as needed
• <5% of Cabinets are temperature-controlled or ‘monitored’ by technology to ensure readiness
• Outdoor AEDs are often not marked by signage; Is your AED location readily visible to all?
• Outdoor AED cabinets often are not ‘alarmed’; sometimes cabinets are left wide open, without an AED inside. This causes confusion, or worse, a misplaced sense of security- representing a great risk to both potential SCA victims and…to the organization itself
