News to Use in the Fight Against Sudden Cardiac Arrest
Hello friends,
Thanks for being part of the SaveHeart by HeartNation community, and welcome to the second edition of our SaveHeart Stories newsletter! Our goal is to provide information and resources that you can use in your community to help save lives from sudden cardiac arrest- wherever you live, work, and play. We value your feedback, so please drop us a note to let us know what you think, and if we can promote your organization or important local events happening near you.
As the Fourth of July approaches, I’m reminded why it matters so much to us, and to our customers, that SaveHeart by HeartNation is an American company, building American-made products. It’s not a marketing slogan, and it’s not a gimmick. It’s on purpose. Maybe we could make more money if we manufactured our cabinets elsewhere, but that was never the plan. We’re laser-focused on making the highest-quality AED enclosures right here, and offering them to our partners and customers at a great value, from sea to shining sea.
We’re proud to support American jobs and American communities while also raising the standard for lifesaving outdoor readiness across the country.
Thanks for all you do locally to combat sudden cardiac arrest, the leading natural cause of death in the United States. Please let us know how we can support you with cutting-edge outdoor AED cabinets, related information and resources, or sponsorship of local community initiatives.
Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, joyous, and special Independence Day.
Sincerely,
Dave Fritzsche,
Founder, SaveHeart by HeartNation

New Heart Safety Legislation Passed in Indiana and Pennsylvania to Protect our Youth!
Indiana House Bill 1515 and Pennsylvania Senate Bill 375 are game-changers for student safety.
These new laws will require all schools in Indiana and Pennsylvania to have access to an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), a vital step toward protecting young lives from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
Effective yesterday, July 1, Indiana House Bill 1515 requires athletic coaches, band leaders, and extracurricular activity leaders to complete sudden cardiac arrest training; that an operational Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is present at all extracurricular events; and that all schools develop an emergency action plan for sudden cardiac arrest.
In Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Senate Bill 375 also requires that AEDs are present at all sanctioned athletic events and practices, and emergency action plans for cardiac incidents are in place. This bill was just passed by the PA Senate and now heads to the PA House of Representatives.
These legislative efforts echo the tireless advocacy of the Play for Jake Foundation and the Greg Moyer Defibrillator Fund, who each turned personal tragedy into powerful efforts requiring schools to have accessible AEDs and specific action plans for SCA emergencies.
SaveHeart by HeartNation applauds these life-saving initiatives and supports future developments in all states, as young Americans everywhere deserve greater protection from the ongoing health epidemic and serial killer known as SCA.
SaveHeart by HeartNation in the News

We were busy in June in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
On June 8th, we celebrated the dedication of a SaveHeart Outdoor AED Tower at White Meadow Lake Country Club in Rockaway, NJ, donated by our partners at Heartfelt Harmonies. This smart- monitored, all-weather Tower ensures lifesaving AED access around the clock. This great event was coordinated by Heartfelt Harmonies founder Kiersten Rock-Torcivia (pictured above) and included community CPR training facilitated by the John Taylor Babbitt Foundation.
The very next day, on June 9th, SaveHeart by HeartNation was proud to help sponsor the Matthew Mangine, Jr. One Shot Foundation Golf Event in Union, KY. While Dave and Steve didn’t win any golf awards, a great time was had by all!
These incredible organizations are making a real difference by raising SCA awareness and advocating for 24/7 AED access and expanded AED coverage everywhere.
On July 16th, we are excited to participate and help support the 4AlecFoundation at the “Fore Alec Golf Outing” at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course in Chesterland, OH. Come join the fun! For more information about this great organization and event, click here to visit their website.
Together, we’re building a stronger Heart Nation—one community at a time.
