SaveHeart Proud to Sponsor the Zac Mago Foundation Golf Event in Walkerton, IN

In recognition of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Awareness Month, SaveHeart by HeartNation is proud to celebrate the incredible work of the Zac Mago Foundation, founded by Teresa Mago in memory of her son Zac. Tragically, Zac passed away from sudden cardiac arrest on July 5, 2018, just one week before his 18th birthday. Zac was preparing to start his senior year at John Glenn High School, where he excelled academically and was a standout basketball player. More importantly, Zac was a beloved son, brother, friend, classmate, and teammate, known for the deep connections he formed with everyone he met.

The Zac Mago Foundation is dedicated to preventing unnecessary deaths from sudden cardiac arrest in young people. Through its three-part mission of prevention, awareness, and education, the foundation raises funds to provide critical heart screenings for high school students, places AEDs in local communities, and promotes life-saving information about SCA. Recently, SaveHeart was honored to be a sponsor for the 5th Annual Zac Mago Golf Classic. The event was a heartwarming day filled with laughter, love, and camaraderie—a true reflection of the spirit of Zac Mago, whose legacy continues to inspire and connect people.
